Transportation subsidy has been given through Transjakarta. For residential subsidy, under Rp 1 billion of house and land will be free from land and building tax, also for those who live in flats.
"Transportation and residential are the most expensive cost here," Basuki said, Thursday (9/10).
DTKJ Suggested the Use of Single Trip Public TransportationFor the health sector and education, the government gave health insurance via BPJS and Jakarta Smart Card (KJP).
"We must prepare the governor regulation (Pergub) to implement the land and building tax elimination. But, the arrears must be paid," he continued.
According to him, the land and building tax elimination is related with the calculation of province minimum wage (UMP). UMP calculation is based on proper life index (KHL).
Basuki appealed the residents who already have house in Jakarta, not to sell the house to avoid more expensive transportation cost.
"It is better to stay in the capital. No land and building tax, cheap bus, KJP for your children, and Puskesmas is ready to serve you," he uttered.
